Electric prices could be on the up again say OfGem today

They'll strap a emissions measuring machine to your face to charge you for your Co2 emissions. Gotta get that tax.

Here’s one for all the KNOB lovers ( very true )

I believe any function on the car that must be touch only should have an App on your mobile as backup. It would be better if there was manual buttons for backup but that's extra cost in physical parts.

Price increase from Instavolt from 15 November 75p per kWh

We'll that's about 20pence a mile for me then in summer and 25p in winter. I'm lucky I don't need to charge on rapids as I rarely go away for holidays or days off. Mostly because I can't afford them lol.

No incentive for off-peak charging - daytime burden on grid

They probably only need to have energy usage monitoring instead of an actual meter. As the Government grants required them to provide statistical data.

Do we need friction brakes anymore?

If Regen cannot put energy into the system, could they not use energy instead in the form of reverse to slow it to a stop (would still need friction brakes to hold as its bad for the electric motor). When parking my car I put it in reverse while its coasting forwards (all be it very slow).
