    Road anger and aggressive overtaking

The thing is, though...They were not "Aggressively overtaking" but she feels they are reckless and aggressive when overtaking. Probably because of the sheer amount of cars overtaking her (Read...Almost every car, she IS usually doing 10-15 mph under the speed limit on roads where there is not...

    Road anger and aggressive overtaking

The only person i know, that complains about people "aggressively overtaking by speed-demons" is my mother. She is near 70 and once i was travelling with her, when someone "overtook her aggressively". I then pointed out to her that she was doing 38 on a 50 mph road, so i understood those...

    £1 per kWh

Were not as lucky here. Here we pay the hourly tariff. Before electricity was usually cheaper at night but right now it's usually afternoons that are the cheapest so everyone runs their washing machines and so on in the afternoon, and not at night.

    £1 per kWh

Here in Denmark owners of Hybrid cars are running their cars solely on petrol now, "no one" is charging their hybrids, as electricity is equally expensive, which makes it a bad deal to run on batteries. I paid a fee when i ordered directly from MG and signed a contract. I wonder if it will be...

    Life without a home charger?

I dont know how your tax services work, but here, if the company wanted to offer employees to charge at work for free, the employee would certainly be asked to pay taxes off of the electricity provided. The reasoning would be that if they did not, then the company could offer "free charging"...

    Life without a home charger?

My wife is exacly the same and as a consequence i am the one doing the weekly shopping. I, like you, can stick to a list and not get home with £50 of extra non essential crap every week. My wife agrees with this so she is fine with me doing the shopping. This way i also do something. A few...

    Life without a home charger?

But to be fair, is the intention with these chargers not, more or less to give you about the amount of juice you use to go to their shop. So that you get to go there "for free" in regards to "fuel" for the car. A shopping centre 40 miles from here, had a deal, where anyone that visited their...

    Life without a home charger?

I think this is the idea behind it. But to be honest, you just know that if they do not limit it in any way, there will be a whole line of tight git's that would not mind spending their sunday in the car, while they charge it from "empty" to "full". There is a saying here "It is always the...

    Life without a home charger?

Make people sign up with their plate, and have them supply a phone number, send them a text, after 50 minutes reminding them to move the car. If the car is not moved 10 minutes after charging ends, add another week before they can charge again. I mean, can people really complain, the service...

    Life without a home charger?

Could just be ANPR, and a "Max charge 1 hour per week" I work with CCTV camera's and i can tell you that nowadays, even "cheap" (Sub £1000) CCTV camera's can be had with License plate reading. If placed at the right hight, it can easily read the license plate and then it is not very hard to...

Bonnet App - More Free Leccy Codes

Within, what i think is a ring road around Bradford, there is actually only 1 site, so maybe the reason they are not officially in the UK, is they are still negotiating with vendors. The only one i can see is "Crown Courts Car park" GB*TNM (New Motion ?) They seem to have 1 fast charger, that...

Bonnet App - More Free Leccy Codes

Hmm, sounds pretty silly, if they have, i think 748 chargepoints available in the London area. Oh well, maybe they are new, and not ready to handle a lot of new UK costumers. I use it, as there is a strategically placed 150 KWh charger between 2 points i frequently travel, that only charges...

Bonnet App - More Free Leccy Codes

That's weird The Bonnet app has disappeared for me in the playstore, but that seems reasonable because they are not available in Denmark. But if this app has chargers in the UK it is strange that you can not see it. The app is called NORTHE Made by Charge4go AB and the icon is black...

Bonnet App - More Free Leccy Codes

I would as well, just used the app to recharge for free in Germany, but since Bonnet pulled out of Denmark completely, there are no chargers in a 200 miles radius of my home. Changed to another app, called Northe, they are essentially the same, but has a lot more Danish chargers.

Bonnet App - More Free Leccy Codes

So most of these codes are now not valid anymore. What is Even worse, vouchers entered but not used has also vanished from the app. I had a free charge i wanted to use today, but it is not in the app anymore. I never saw an expiration date when entering these codes. Oh well, i Will just...

    Life without a home charger?

Better than nothing, and i dont think they would agree that you going in and bying a pack of gum, would allow you to let your car charge there for hours. Mostly those chargers are a bit of a gimmick, they try to attract EV owners by essentially giving them the opportunity to charge the car...

    Life without a home charger?

Just make it "Parking for costumers only" and if someone is seen parking there, and then wandering of away from the supermarket, they get a ticket. Or limit the charge to 1 hour.

    Life without a home charger?

Are these tesco chargers not simple one phase 7,2 KWh chargers ? Maybe it's just me, but supermarket = Make a list, go there, get everything into the shopping cart as fast as possible, pay and get away from there :) I do the shopping in our family, but i am rarely inside the supermarket for...

Is everyday charging harmful for the battery ?

I wonder if the "penalty" for going to 100% is the same no matter how you get there. I mean, if i charge it to 100% slowly (2½ KWh) will it be less harmfull, than if i do it at a supercharger that will do, maybe 25 KWh from 80-100% My car is mostly charged at max 2½ KWh, would be nice to know...
