Out of interest, how many pre-facelift MG5's were sold? Anyone know? As I see it, due to MG's total lack of interest in doing the decent thing with this, how many future sales are they risking with the 'tough luck, we don't care' attitude? I've praised MG to the high heavens all over the...

I think that one of our biggest problems is that the MG dealer 'network' are franchises rather than dealers... my local, Richmond, is Hyundai, Skoda and Suzuki dealer as well as MG and to that end are 'jack of all trades' as far as servicing and after sales.... whilst I'm unlikely to be changing...

Changed mine out this morning as I coildn't get into the car with it.... sadly it turned out, after the AA mans visit, the the car's 12V battery was flat. His diagnostic gear, afer he got the car powered up, didn't show any problem with the battery per se. He advised letting it sit switched on...

Even the heating is hit or miss... I never managed to get my feet warm without my torso overheating!

I charged my pre facelift 5LR at Gridserves shiny new Gatwick hub today... Lovely place, Costa with a nice lounge... maximum seen was 50kW/hr... about standard at this time of year in my experience...

I've seen 80 ish in summer, but mostly between 40 and 55 depending on the time of day, temp and number of chargers in use.

I had this last week.... checked and pressured to the correct setting. The pressure warning went away after a mile or so. The manual say that the car takes a distance to 're-learn' what the sensors are doing. Been fine ever since.

Go online and google Revive! UK... they can do that on your drive at a very reasonable price. They repaired worse on my red 5 and it's undetectable... Fill in the form on their site and the email a quote back to you. Add the paint code into the information as MG use some special 3 pack paints...
