    Broken down - any ideas

Just be careful on this one, your insurance may be invalid in the event of a mishap when driving with these known faults.

    Dealer refuses to help

Formally reject the car, that will focus their attention.

    Thinking of ordering one

I suspect they would fall foul of GDPR if they didnt gain prior permission.

    In car acceleration sound

I thought it was only the Xpower that suffered with that?

Thats not good, they should have some skates to put under the wheels for loading or lift it with a crane. Please keep us updated how you go on and the eventual outcome.

What voltage reading have you got on the 12v battery? this really smacks of a 12v issue.

    Thinking of ordering one

From a mechanical point of view EV's are less complex and easier to produce. The batteries are improving in performance, capacity and cost so they really should come down a lot.

    Thinking of ordering one

Yep, agreed, there's also an argument for a used higher quality EV as opposed to new one but not for salary sacrifice though.

    Thinking of ordering one

It's unwise to pay too much, but it's unwise to pay too little. When you pay too much you lose a little money, that is all. When you pay too little, you sometimes lose everything, because the thing you bought was incapable of doing the thing you bought it to do.

    You could do this?

    Thinking of ordering one

I would go for the model Y, absolutely no comparison between MG and Tesla, Tesla are in a different league with regards to quality, customer care and all aspects of design. Ive had EV's for the last 7 years, currently a 17 plate i3 and a Sept 23 MG5 Trophy. Theres nothing wrong with MG at all...

    Nurburgring Hot Lap

Some nice driving there, there's no doubt the X-Power deserves the Hot Hatch badge, it really is amazing in it's performance, then when you look at the price, wow. Thanks for sharing.

The cheapest way to embarrass a supercar

It is a very good looking car, I totally agree. Yes it has, it already had plenty of whoomph, it's got even more now. IMHO BMW destroyed their range when they started with the hideous grills on the front, a complete deal breaker for me. Youre probably right on that one, just how long it will...

The cheapest way to embarrass a supercar

Yep, it's bad, really bad, oddly it only seems to affect the price when youre selling, when youre buying theyre still very expensive. Whilst this guy is a complete knob and it's great he's put himself in this position, have a listen to his story if you can stand him long enough Its so funny...

Well this sucks (XPower crash tested) 🙄

The position of the front nearside wheel suggests the damage is a little deeper, the wing has moved back and the wheel is still closer to the rear of the wheel arch than it should be.

Well this sucks (XPower crash tested) 🙄

Thats bad luck, winter sun and anything but a perfectly clean screen is a nightmare. At least youre OK and as others have said it's probably going to be a write off which in many ways is good news, it'll get sorted quicker.
