I don't, I have my actual MG order number (got it from Vanarama) and when I email MG direct for an update, it's always "on shortage". It was a Trophy LR ordered November 2021.

Interesting, surely they can't be taking any more MG orders of any trim level if they can only fulfil approx 50% of existing orders.

when did you order? I got told Late April about a month ago for a Nov order. BUT it really is a meaningless guess to be honest as even MG themselves won't go as far as giving an estimated build date.

Interesting point about hoping we cancel. They won't waive completely the charger install charge of £350 for those cancelling, which you could argue would be a good incentive to entice people to cancel that already have the charger installed, at what would seem to be a small loss to them if it...

Don't hold your breath, I'm a mid Nov 2021 vanarama order and have my MG order number. As of today MG have said it's still awaiting build.

That's good news about waiving the £350 cost of the charger if you cancel.

Refer back to post number 219 in this thread from Vanarama CEO. It's very clear that if you wish to cancel the cost of the charger you'll need to reimburse Vanarama is £350. There were no conditions attached to this statement and it was not time bound.

Judging by @Spiderweb post above this is not the case. So apart from the ongoing delays that is a piece of good news!

Sounds a possibility, but given that if an OZEV grant was applied for, which must be done under the name of an eligible end purchaser/leaser, then the order with MG has to be linked to an OZEV application and therefore an end customer anyway.

Since getting the call from Vanarama about the further delays, and the likelihood of an additional £69 per month to cover the loss of the OZEV grant, I decided to get some dates from the various organisations involved, such as Vanarama, Greenhous, Office for Zero Emissions, and of course MG...

£350 is reasonable, I don't think you could get a charger installed for anywhere near this cost. So assuming if you cancel and go on to get another EV you will at least have had a charger installed at a cheap rate.

I think you would probably have to pay the removal costs anyway, not Vanarama!
