In my view KERs settings don't make any difference to energy saving in an MG5, it's just a matter of personal preference. If the car slows down it charges the battery. On KERs 1 you may have to dab the brakes, but they don't use the actual pads unless you stand on them or come to a stop anyway...

My SR MG5, normally shows 213 after a full charge. In daily use I tend to get 2 miles per percent. I've never driven it to empty, but going by percentages it would cover 180 miles in winter, more in summer. I've had it a year and done 6000 miles, with some long trips.

Well my MG5 SR has USB ports in the back, and has the same screen as the MG5 LR, but doesn't have an app - but then the only UK EV with an app is the new ZS. The MG5 LR doesn't have an app.

In my MG 5 the car wont lock, but it will re lock the cable and resume charging!

You literally have to press unlock on the key, then pull it out. If you press the unlock on the car door, by the time you get to the cable it will have relocked!

I don't believe the MG5 has any available updates besides the kers brake light one. Is your Ohme a tethered charger? Otherwise it might be a type 2 cable issue if you're using it on your Ohme and at Tesco!

My MG5 SR, which I always charge to 100% and equalise when I charge at home, sometimes takes 10 minutes, and sometimes 4 to 5 hours to equalise. 95% plus of my charging is done at home on my Wallbox Pulsar Plus. I've not fathomed why it sometimes takes so long but it only uses about 300w/ hour...

Well they do charge £5 for 10 minutes drop off plus £1 per minute over. So £17.50 for an hour is a bargain 😡.

Mine works fine if I'm near it over Bluetooth, but connects via my Wi-fi when I'm further away. Have you set up the Wi-fi?

Since I had mine done last Friday, I haven't noticed any difference, although the GOM is still learning after being reset in the update process (it's reading a bit higher miles/kwh). But the general 2 miles per percent is still consistent.
