That's why Bjorn Nyland always uses the expression "The charge port is on the left side which is the right side, not the right side which is the wrong side". :) (Although front-right would still be "right" for a Tesla bay).

In the photo, what's obviously happened is that the arrow sign has been turned - either by accident (lorry side mirror impact) or by some wag having a jolly jape. It should be more in line with the other sign on that pole. :)

Agreed. Changing the lead driver to someone who isn't actually going to be the lead driver is known as Fronting. It usually happens more at the other end of the scale (parent fronting for teenage son as premiums are scary high), but the same applies here.

In my case drilling the hole was pretty simple ... out the back of the cupboard where the CU resides and through the exterior wall. Cable run was then very simple. (See photo .. the hole is just before the gate post/just after the drain downpipe): :)

The hardest part of my EVSE install that the installer had was drilling a hole through the wall for the cable. 🤣

Are you getting panels with micro-inverters? (See the video by EVM on YouTube about his existing system vs Harry's new system ... the new system with micro-inverters is much more efficient in sub-optimal lighting conditions).

I think it uses the 4G/LTE eSIM that is also used for data connection.

The past couple of years or so (COVID legacy) have been an anomaly regarding used prices ... back in 2021/22 people were managing to sell their 2nd hand cars for a profit! (Or at least negligible loss). Things are more back to normal now (which the EV price drop scaremongering videos glibly...

Not to mention trying to explain the design theory ... "I've got a great idea guys! Let's develop a new motive power unit which requires onboard storage of flammable liquid plus multiple micro-explosions to enable a drive shaft to turn road wheels!" 🤣
