At what SOC is one pedal driving available?

Yes, MG need a better tech/update system, better communication and better support. It is these things that currently have me questioning whether I will have another MG.

At what SOC is one pedal driving available?

Why did you move on from the Leaf then? Just curious. Both the ID3 and MG4 are new platform first vehicle departures for the makers. They are going to have issues until the platforms mature. Nissan has the benefit of more than a decade of refinement. If you are looking for cars that are...

At what SOC is one pedal driving available?

I think that's an unfortunate mistranslation that just needs correcting in the error message. It is new to MG and also a retrofit (originally the MG4 came without it), so it will probably take them a while to get it working well. The Leaf has had 13 years of development so is very polished...

    MG4 Air-con & Under tray update

Can't someone copy the design of the metal bar fix in Australia and make it available over here for independent fitting?

MG4 Lane assist, speed assist keep resetting

I do get those warnings, but only from the passenger in the left seat! 😂

    One Pedal Driving

Well I thought the same, but I suppose not, there must have been an overlap.

Issue with AC charging/New CCU fitted (Phase One SE LR)

Ok, though I don't see why they couldn't test that themselves rather than wait for you to test at home and have to tell them. Hope it gets sorted soon.

MG4 Lane assist, speed assist keep resetting

I don't think I have ever driven for that long without stopping. Could be, maybe I am a waggler? 😉

MG4 Lane assist, speed assist keep resetting

Trophys originally had the very intrusive eye monitoring system which constantly bonged and was appalling - however, there was very quickly a removal of the hardware from new builds and a deactivation in a software update (I think one of the mandatory ones) to fix this. My car arrived without...

    Are the facelift cars better?

No. When you see rain spots on the windscreen, turn on the wipers to a setting that matches the rain intensity. Yes.

    MG4 Software Update Thread

To get updates you need to complain about specific issues that you have and ask them to be fixed under warranty. You won't get them otherwise except for a small handful of required updates.

    New MG4 Shipment?

Completely wrong about EVs being sold at £10k, they are confusing the MG3 with the other models. But I would expect such a poor quality of journalism from that rag. Usual 'clogging the roads' and 'mobile intelligence platform' nonsense - Do they have ANY idea how many consumer products are...

MG4 Standard tyres are seriously dangerous!

Hmmmm... maybe the original tyres are not wearing well. Still plenty of tread but today I had the back step out a long way while under moderate acceleration on a slip road joining the motorway. It was wet but it took me by surprise and a long time for the car to react, could have spun if I had...

I believe the MG4 is certified in Europe for roof load, just not in the UK.

No, it has come up before. I think I am happier having the PTC Heater especially for rapid heat in the depths of winter.

    Vehicle Control System Fault

Hmmmm... we seem to be seeing this a lot lately - bad batch of comms modules in the car maybe?

    Locked out

Many MG dealers have been quite overwhelmed due to the high volume of sales of MG4s over the first 18 months, plus a number of smaller dealerships have closed. A lot of poaching goes on of MG technicians to more prestigious (higher paying) marques and it is hard to recruit people with the right...

    MG4 not charging

No, but because it took 7 or 8 months to show up in MY22, that could just be a matter of time. We don't know what the fault actually is and whether it can happen on MY23 cars too.

    Locked out

If not a loose connection this could be signs of an intermittent communication error in the car, mostly likely one of the modules involved in marshalling and digesting data from the various subsystems has got a fault. Before that though, I'd want every software update under the sun, just to...
