32a charger

A **32A charger** is an electric vehicle (EV) charger that delivers up to **32 amps (amperes)** of electrical current to charge a vehicle’s battery.

In most residential settings, a 32A charger is typically a **Level 2 (AC) charger** that operates on **240V (in North America)** or **230V (in many other countries)**. At 240V, a 32A charger can provide up to **7.7 kW** of power (32A × 240V), allowing most EVs to fully charge overnight.

Key characteristics:
- **Current rating:** 32 amps
- **Power output:** Up to ~7–7.7 kW (depending on voltage)
- **Typical use:** Home or small commercial EV charging
- **Charging speed:** Faster than standard Level 1 (120V) chargers

It requires an electrical circuit and wiring rated to safely handle 32 amps.
