Braking-behavior refers to the patterns, strategies, or actions exhibited by a driver or a vehicle’s control system when reducing speed or coming to a stop. It involves factors such as the timing, intensity, and smoothness of brake application, and can be influenced by driver habits, road conditions, traffic situations, or automated system algorithms. This term is commonly used in transportation research, driver-assistance system development, and vehicle safety studies.
