dash

The dash is a punctuation mark consisting of a long horizontal line. It is similar in appearance to the hyphen but is longer and sometimes higher from the baseline. The most common versions are the en dash –, generally longer than the hyphen but shorter than the minus sign; the em dash —, longer than either the en dash or the minus sign; and the horizontal bar ―, whose length varies across typefaces but tends to be between those of the en and em dashes.

    Wish list item

    Having just installed a dash cam for parking coverage I really wish that MG had a parking mode utilising the existing cameras like Tesla, it is frustrating knowing they are there and not being able use them for this purpose. So does anyone have features they would add to a wish list ?

    Error indicator on dash

    My MGS5 arrived yesteray - quite impressed. However, when I turn off all the lane departure and emergency functions, I get the icon for The lane keeping assist function has detected a fault.. I turn them back on, and the icon goes away. Does anyone have an idea what's happening? Will update...

    Hi, Just fitted a dash cam to my LR MG4. Bought a power adapter cable from China (not sure if I can post link ?) and a 12v to 5v from Amazon.     Driver Side Dash Rattle

    Having searched the forums I cannot find any complaints about a rattle from the driver's side dash. A rattle that is heard when going over sharp bumps or rough surfaces and has got slightly worse. Sounds like hard plastics vibrating/knocking together. Not the sunglasses, nor the digital displays...

    I’m looking to install my NextBase iQ 4K Dash Cam but what would everyone recommend? What are the advantages / disadvantages of hard wiring to the Fuse Box or Installing via the OBD? Is one better than the other?

    Camera cover dash cam help

    I can't seem to clip the replacement cover with the dashcam. It is wobbly and doesn't want to clip on.. Is drilling a hole and screwing those in the only option ? @javiermi ?

    Won't start, get dash but nothing else

    Hi, all thanks for reading this. Had a bump in my mg4 se, damage is nothing g really but the vehicle won't start or move, I have been informed there is like a cut off switch that can be reset. Does anyone know where this is please, need help fast. Thank you

    Dash soc always shows 100%?

    Not sure if this is a known issue or not, but having picked up my mg5 facelift on Tuesday, the dash always shows 100% in the big image, but 80% in the bottom left: Any thoughts? Wondering if this is a known issue (perhaps related to updates) or something else. Thanks Ian

    Posting on behalf of my Dad who’s recently got an MG3 Hybrid - Currently working on installing a Garmin Dashcam Mini 2 and ceramic coating. Found the fuse box in the end, ran the cables but have failed to decide which fuses to piggy back off of….. Any help would be really useful. Jason
