infotainment

Infotainment (a portmanteau of information and entertainment), also called soft news as a way to distinguish it from serious journalism or hard news, is a type of media, usually television or online, that provides a combination of information and entertainment. The term may be used disparagingly to devalue infotainment or soft news subjects in favor of more serious hard news subjects. Infotainment-based websites and social media apps are gaining traction due to their focused publishing of infotainment content, e.g. BuzzFeed.

    Screen stuck or black

    Hello. The infotainment screen on my MG4 freezes after a short time of use and also goes black, unable to reset the screen with the home button. It started happening with the heat, especially when connecting the Android phone via cable. Has anyone experienced something similar?

    USB music returns to shuffle on each start

    I was happy to find that the Infotainment system was able to manage.flac as well as .MP3 files on a usb stick but we've found that whenever we start the car, it reverts to playing in shuffle mode rather than normal sequential mode as it was last left. Any way to fix this?
