key fob malfunction
A **key fob malfunction** refers to a failure or improper operation of a remote key fob, where it does not perform its intended functions—such as locking or unlocking doors, starting the vehicle, or activating alarms—due to issues like a depleted battery, electronic faults, signal interference, physical damage, or problems with the vehicle’s receiver system.
Following the low battery warning on my keyfob,I replaced the battery. However the key now refuses to function.
1. I have tried 3 x different batteries
2. The car does not recognise the key in the back up position.
3. The spare key still works fine.
