maintenance
The technical meaning of maintenance involves functional checks, servicing, repairing or replacing of necessary devices, equipment, machinery, building infrastructure, and supporting utilities in industrial, business, and residential installations. Over time, this has come to include multiple wordings that describe various cost-effective practices to keep equipment operational; these activities occur either before or after a failure.
Hi. Anybody had any issues with their Battery (12 volt)? My Cyberster went back to the dealership and took 5 weeks to sort an issue out. When I got it back after two days the battery was knackered according to the AA.
Just thught I'd get a quote online for a 2 year service plan, when I got to the totals screen I noticed something strange. The first service (year 2) is £217.10, the second is £114, this gives a total of £331.10, but the total of the instalments is £350.30.
So the question is what is the £19.20...

Hi everyone,
I have a question about tyre pressure. I took delivery of my new ZS Hybrid+ yesterday and noticed that the tyre pressure was 3.2 bar for all 4 tyres (Car had been taken out by the dealer yesterday morning I assume as they had put some petrol in and it was a warm day so the air had...
Just had my 5th year service which has cost £275 before VAT - this is four times as much as the 4th year service and the checks are identical. Would like to know where all this extra cost has come from.
This is a low mileage service and another thing that puzzles me is that the maintenance...
Hi Guys 👋
After selling our 72 plate MG5 Trophy back in February 2024, we'll be soon coming back to MG5 ownership with a 22 plate MG5 LR. A question on the MG 7 year (?) warranty......

My 2 year service contract is now at an end. I have been offered Y3-Y4 service for £574 - payable monthly at 0%. AA Assist is included I think (will makes it reasonable value) but any other thoughts out there about the value for money??
Just FYI - spoke to Richmond Group HQ and they advised...
Had my used MG4 for about 2 weeks and have just checked the wheel arches, and because of the design of the liners, they seem to trap mud between the liner and the outer panels.
Just given them a good blast with the hosepipe and it has all come out. This will be a regular part of my car washing...
We have had ther MG ZS for 40,000 miles and I am worried the 12 volt, battery will suddenly let us down - where and when we least expect it to.
When driving the meter still shows a healthy charge, but really, a nearly four year old battery still functioning as if it were new?! The longetivity...
I bought a low mileage MG5 standard range last year.
It's now due its 4th year service and I was wondering what others had paid for theirs to be done.
A dealer in Dorset has quoted me the best part of three hundred quid.
Does that seem to be the right amount?
It's just coming up to 28,000 miles...
I've just taken the leap from diesel to EV I've bought ( leasing ) a MG4 trophy battery approx 287 mpc.
I've been offered a service plan for 3 years costing £844 , works out at £283 per year . I'm not sure if that's good , I paid £260 for my Diesel per year and i assume their was far more to...
Hi Everyone,
Every time I had an issue with my MG4, I found myself spending more time searching through manuals than actually fixing the problem. That’s why I decided to train an AI, using all available MG4 manuals, to help with troubleshooting, maintenance, and programming. This AI can quickly...
Hi everyone. Sadly, my 2020 Renault Zoe has been totalled by an elderly driver who had a mini-stroke whilst pulling out of a side road......
I've had a drive in an MG5 EV and enjoyed it (non face-lift) - one of my friend's is head over heels in love with his. Would the MG5 be a worthy choice...
