seat occupancy sensor
A **seat occupancy sensor** is a device that detects whether a seat is occupied, typically by sensing weight, pressure, or presence. It is commonly used in vehicles and seating systems to control functions such as airbag deployment, seatbelt warnings, or occupancy monitoring.
My mate's missus needs a new car, so they wanted to see if the MG4 appealed,
Sat her in the drivers seat, but nothing happened, no lights no nothing!
asked her to bounce on the seat, she gave me a strange look but eventually complied.
Bingo, everything lit up.
She is just too light to activate...
I am sure i had seen this some where..
not sure on facebook or in forum.
Someone had added a switch to the occupancy sensor on the driver seat.
so with a flick of a button, the car wont turn on after u sit inside.
I could not find the post any more. If anyone know how to do it.. or had done...
