Subframe corrosion refers to the deterioration or rusting of a vehicle’s subframe — the structural component that supports key parts such as the engine, suspension, and drivetrain. This corrosion occurs when moisture, road salt, and other corrosive substances cause the metal frame to weaken over time, potentially leading to safety issues, alignment problems, and structural failure if not repaired.
For those of you that have had your MG3 Hybrids for a while, is there any sign of underbody corrosion anywhere, either on the body of the car or on things such as the subrframes and suspension components.
