sun glare
A sun visor is a component of an automobile located on the interior just above the windshield (also known as the shield). They are designed with a hinged flap that is adjustable to help shade the eyes of drivers and passengers from the glare of sunlight.
I was driving into low sun when a warning briefly came up that Forward Collision Warning and Active Braking were unavailable.
Just when they are most needed!
I'm surprised that they are wholly visual spectrum and don't also use radar.
