A **tailgate kick sensor** is a hands-free device installed beneath the rear bumper of a vehicle that detects a kicking or foot-swipe motion. When activated, it signals the vehicle to automatically open or close the power tailgate, allowing access without using hands or a key button.
If anyone knows the correct way to do it i'd appreciate some schooling - The Irish Jig I've been doing doesn't seem to work!
It's activated in the settings, and I got it to work once today with a swipe of my foot from side to side, but I can't do it again.
