See, I don't really try to evangelise EVs amongst my ICE mates, in fact I almost avoid discussion, but an frequently drawn into it as they've read the latest scare story (what was it this week, EVs will cause car parks and bridges to collapse) and they want to taunt me!
(Btw if you get that one just tell them to look at the weight of a reasonably size and common family saloon e.g. BMW5 (about 1700kg) and an MG5 EV (1562kg). I realise that's not quite like for like but no-one has barred BMWs from their car park yet!!)
