App Suggestion to MG

Just watched latest Fully Charged video on You Tube about the NUi scooter. Its chinese and has a really good app.



If they can have an app working in the UK then MG should be able to get the app working here.

They could get an app working here if the cars had the hardware for it (they don’t) and SAIC had the commercial appetite for it (they clearly don’t) - it’s not some technological black hole that they don’t understand, it’s a purely commercial decision.

That could effect their long term position in the uk market but I guess the main market is China and the rest of Asia. I would imagine it would be possible to retro fit a sim card if they made it available.

It’s only going to affect their long term position when someone else starts bashing out EVs for £20k that have the same features plus an app / preconditioning - I imagine a new model will then appear with those features.
