Apple CarPlay vs Android Auto

I'm about to get a new mobile phone. I'm wondering whether to go for an Apple and use Apples CarPlay or Android, with Android Auto on my MG5.

Especially keen to hear from anyone who has tried both, or knows of any feature provided by one but not the other. Thought I'd make it a Poll, for fun, but I'm more interested in any experiences with either app.

Hope the question is of interest to others.
