Hi Folks,

After reading several posts along the lines that MG customer service is as much use as an ashtray on a motorcycle.
I'm considering the idea of either using an independent garage for servicing. Or even doing it myself?
Obviously, option 2 would result in no 7yr warranty. But seemingly MG aren't particularly forthcoming reference warranty claims?

Would I still receive over the air software updates?

I've just found this on our very own forum. But it still isn't conclusive Clive...

When I had my MG4 they replaced the passenger door button and the central charging unit under warranty. Yes it took several visits over a few months to get the CCU replaced because of all the diagnostic work my dealer had to do but it was done and a courtesy car was provided each time it went in.
