I have had the MG3 Hybrid for 5 months and have never been so unsure about a car. My latest gripe is that I get a warning that the battery is low when I switch on and off. I contacted the dealership to be told
'We would need to book the vehicle in for a diagnostics session to be able to look into the issue and advise on the fix, Once the technicians are able to confirm the issue and the fix they will submit the warranty claim on your behalf,
I do need to make you aware you may be subject to an initial diagnostic charge of £140.00 if the fault is not covered under warranty, however if the fault is covered under warranty the charge may not apply.'
How do I know what is covered by warranty and what is not?
Is this a common problem - I am surprised this has happened in a car which is only 12 months old
Is it common to require the car for a full day to check the battery - sledgehammer to crack a nut comes to mind
