I have heard a lot of people rubbishing on MG and saying how crap MG is and how they are unreliable and the are overpriced. Me personally, I don't really like MGs, but are they getting more reliable however? Look at kia, they were crap back in the day but now they make reliable cars. Also, before anyone starts complaining or commenting "Why have you created an account just to rubbish on our cars?" I'm not, I said that I have heard people rubbishing on MG.

I think it's the after sales service rather than the cars themselves.

There may have been some quality issues during the covid crisis and microchip shortages.

Apart from 2 rear suspension springs, mines been fine.

Most -ve stuff I've see here is about UK dealers.
Australia maybe different, as we have 2 yearly service, it's probably too early to tell.
Our car is over a year old and not a sign of a problem.

There was also a story on here a bout a Taxi that has done incredible distance, with only a few wear patches on the most used seats.'

Have a look at this.

Interesting stuff, thanks for sharing this. This is just bias but for me, I’d rather spend $1000AUD on a VX Executive Commodore, they are sturdy cars and have a lot aftermarket support (I am a Holden enthusiast) by the way this forum’s format looks familiar, does it use the same template as Just Commodores? :https://forums.justcommodores.com.au/
