In the specs for the IM5, it states, under Safety and Security, that it has Brake Disc Washing (BDW) as standard. Anyone know wtf that is? It's not mentioned anywhere in the Owner's Manual and Google just shows me cans of brake degreaser. Oh, and another thing - annoyed the IM5 is incapable of V2L :(

You can do V2L of up to 6.6kW

BDW is an automatic and imperceptible application of the brakes to ‘wash off’ water in wet conditions so that the brakes are primed for instant bite should the need arise. A very marginal feature where I am where rain usually comes in 2-4”/hour. Might be useful in places where there is drizzle, not rain?

Interesting. I couldn't find it listed on the specs list but that's good to know. I've got a V2L adaptor I used with my previous car, an MG4. I had to change the internal resistor in that (to 470R if I remember correctly to allow discharge of up to 7kW).
