Daytime driving light on the drivers side not working. It's a 2022 PFL LR MG5. Did this one get resolved? Am I going to have a huge bill for a complete new headlamp unit?

Could be one side has a bad earth ?
Wouldn't that affect the headlight and indicator as well?

I'd remove the connector and spray with contact cleaner
Sounds like a good idea, there is a big connector behind the headlight with lots of wires, is that the one? And I think it has some sort of clip holding it together, how do you undo it?

Have you pursued this as a warranty issue?
It won't be under warranty anymore. The only thing warranted for 7 years is the HV battery and 6 years for paint. Everything else expires between 3 and 36 months.

That's not actually correct.
The warranty covers everything except the exclusions listed so if the item in question is not explicitly listed as an exclusion, it remains in scope.

Had the same on the passenger side, got it replaced under warranty. As per all modern cars, it's the entire headlight unit, not just an LED strip that needs replacing.

So anything not listed on the "Warranty Exception" list is covered for 7 years? In this case, the headlights?
