As the .pdf owners manual on the MGS5 provides so little information about the infotainment system, this might be helpful . . . or like us early owners, you can just spend hours playing with all the settings.

Hi all, just purchased an MGS5 Trophy and hands up, I have been playing around with MG Pilot. I now have a very annoying and terse female shouting (well certainly a raised voice) that I am OVER THE SPEED LIMIT, whereas before I had a very soft voiced female telling me what the speed limit is.
Try as I might I cannot get rid of the loud female telling me off!
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Have a look in the built in sat nav app and the settings in there. I had to turn off speed alerts (or something similar) even though I wasn't using the built in sat nav

Edit: on Saturday nav, click menu button bottom left (3 bars), settings, warnings and turn off warn when speeding and that worked for me

I was told by my dealer to turn it off in the Sat Nav settings as well.

Funnily enough I was just about to ask a whole load of questions about retaining settings from one drive to the next, specifically Driving Mode, the customised nature of Custom, One-Pedal Driving and last radio frequency (even which band is in use, let alone the station.)

I get it about MG Pilot, but all these other settings just seem to get forgotten, unless I am being dumb?
