All being well, we should be having a roof full of solar panels, home battery & hot water solar diverter fitted next week. In addition we currently have an MG ZS EV.
I was on a reasonably cheap energy tariff with EDF until the end of June (hoping to have had my system installed by then) but am now on their standard variable tariff.
What is the perceived wisdom around the best TOU tariff to apply for? I see many of the companies are not taking on new customers at the moment. Is it best to stay on the SVR for the moment and hope there is sufficient solar during the day to charge to run the house, charge the battery, heat the hot water & charge the car???
It’s just all so new at the moment I’m not sure of the best thing to do.
