Door opening %

Anyone care to offer an explanation, logical or otherwise, as to why the doors default opening to an oddly specific 82% ?!

Further, once settled into ownership, what have you landed on as your preferred % to leave set at, and why?

(I’m assuming mostly: 100% because why not / 82% because I haven’t changed it / smaller % due to a specific obstacle regular parked near)

I changed my setting to 100%. Much easier to get in and out of the vehicle now .Let the sensors do their job. Just in my honest opinion.

Beware that the sensors don't always do their job in all situations. Car parks with pillars and low sections are ones to be very wary about

It never hurts to be cautious, but I've never had any problems in underground car parks or multi-storey car parks. That's why I always set the maximum opening angle to 95%.
