If Charlie Darwin is right, and who could argue with his logic, then sometime in the future will British drivers left arms and index fingers get longer in comparison to their right, to compensate for having to reach that bit further to change the parameters of their relevant infotainment systems. The opposite being applicable for European and American drivers. After which could the British be truly cast as a breed apart?
Could cause mayhem in the international shirt market.

Not unless the inability to reach the screen killed the people with shorter arms before they reproduced. And it would be more likely that both arms would remain the same length (as each other) as there would be no selection pressure for the right arm to be shorter than the left. So everyone would simply have longer arms.

The Haggis's evolution went that way eons ago separating into clockwise and anti-clockwise sub-species but still survive in such quantities that they have to be culled annually on 25th January.

I know its not in the users manual as an instruction but could be a handy defence should you called up before the local magistrates court.
