Hi all
so i have just taken my mg4 in for its first service today and when i checked in with reception i asked if the technician could investigate a vibration and rumbling noise
coming from the rear drivetrain at around 60 mph that has got worse in recent months.
the reply was yes we can investigate that for you but it will be an additional £150 on top of your first service charge if its a non warranty issue
im just amazed at this response to be honest i would like to use stronger words but i wont.
so there basically saying if there is no fault found or its perfectly normal then (which i suspect they will) i have to pay an extra £150 on top of the £135 service charge for the privalage of an inspection of said drivetrain while its up on the ramps any way having the routine checks done on wheels sand tyres etc.
has any one else come across this at there local mg service centre?
