How Is The Wading Depth Affected In An EV?

Any chance of a list of those banned words please?
Otherwise it's a game of Russian roulette.
On the one hand you don't want us to abbreviate words, & post them in full.
But that could land us in hot water if we post the wrong words? 🤔
Writing a 'swearword' in full won't land you in hot water, because if it's a banned word, it will be censored, and everything will be ok. Disguising a swearword with random characters won't be automatically censored, but may still look like a banned swearword, so this could land you in hot water.

But I see biker67 point. it's not about getting in trouble, it's about being able to write a sentence without having stuff deleted.
Should we just write all the naughty words we know, in a long list, and see what survives?

Nothing will be deleted if you write a sentence with swearwords, the swearwords will be censored if they are banned words, but the sentence/post will still be there.

Also, I don't know the banned word list myself, but I wouldn't recommend writing a list to test it. ;)

I have to say I don't see a problem here. I've mod'ed on various sites including motorcycle sites over the years. Discussions can get very lively at times on the bike sites & I & my other mods had to intervene & sometimes ban users for the nature of their posts & language used. This site doesn't seem to have any of those issues that I can see. Yet everyone gets their point across without issue. Because of the rules the mods here are able to have a softly softly approach which in my view is the best way.

If it isn't you can either edit the post to change the wording or press the preview button (top right of the message box) to change it before posting.
Good point Ian, previewing the post before actually posting it will show if a word is / will be censored. (y)

Maybe, maybe not, but anybody who thinks they need to swear to be humorous, might want to try a different forum.
Well, in the case of my dear old Gran, the "below the belt" angle of her comment wouldn't be funny without mentioning the three swear words.

Of course you can be funny without swearing, but that particular story wouldn't be funny without.

Talk about going off topic! Is there a rule about that? :ROFLMAO:
Rule 25: Members must take the earliest opportunity to go off topic only returning on topic when the off topic deviation has been fully discussed.

Rule 25A: While discussing the off topic deviation members are also allowed to deviate from the off topic deviation.

Rule 254B: The deviations may at the discretion of a Moderator be removed from the original and made a subject of their own.

I once drove my VW Beetle through water that turned out to be just under the armpits .... discovered that when it started to float and one of the idiots in the car with me opened the passenger side door on the upstream side (Shoalhaven River upper regions) and it started to sink, opened my drivers door on the down stream side to let the water out, stepped out off the running board only to drop down to the arm pits .... freezing cold because it was snow melt, and determined we had been washed off the causeway
In my defence, the road ran down the hill and across the river and up the otherside, plenty of tyre tracks, turned out all the people that lived the other side of the river had jacked up 4 X 4's o_O

After we built a fire to warm up a bit, we ventured back in, floated it to the otherside, a bottle of metho poured in the distributor and cap and the rest down the carby ..... pushed it up the road still it turned over enough to splitter to life, drenched them all in black crap when the exhaust pushed all the water out, chucked a u turn and back across the causeway  made them all walk back across the causeway to get back in the car .....
That mighty beetle kept going for another 2 yrs until I sold it ......

I had a Beetle. Neither it nor me were intrepid.

The front end got very light at anything around 50 mph or above.

Made me feel very uneasy.
