Will have had my 2022 PHEV nearly 4 years as of March 2026 and so will be due a service.. the Mileage is around 7,500. at the moment (Oct 25).
I am thinking of replacing it and wonder if the Cam Belt/Chain will need replacing. I have noted some say it's a Belt and others a Chain and MG website does not seem to mention it all. If a belt it seems the belt on its own can cost from £13 up to around £60 or more, plus dealer charges. If it will cost around £500+ then I would probably PX it and put the £ towards the next car. The HS has not put a foot wrong other than a blocked sunroof down drain that I cleared myself. Must have been lucky I guess!!

Has anyone had this replaced and if so what was the dealer servicing cost?

Not sure if it’s a chain or a belt, but timing chains do NOT get replaced as a normal service procedure.
Cam belts yes, but these are normally based on either a time or mileage basis, which ever arrives first.
Given your current milage and age of your car, then it’s unlikely to be called up in this early stage in its life scale tbh.
The dealer will have it listed I am sure.
