I made an app to reduce range anxiety

I get the McAfee warning I.e.

I can assure you it's not malicious or suspicious or dangerous content and will happily share the code. It may be that it's a .JS file that runs and many anti virus systems see these as a potential hazard.

Just refreshed in my android phone and it's working. But it's not a production/retail app, just me messing about to see what I can do.

Don't the route planning apps in Electroverse, Zapmap, ABRP, etc. do this anyway ? Just asking.

I've made some small changes - the route b

Yes to an extent. But this was just something I was messing about with to see if I could come up with the details and environmental conditions, all in one place. So, this looks up the weather, considers the driving style, vehicle, battery tech, route etc. then tell you assumed SoC when you get there, if you will make it back. Then added the routing to the nearest chargers.

For some reason the Electroverse linking doesn't work - ZapMap just opens the app/web page but Google and Waze gives you the route. Haven't tried Apple maps as I don't use Apple stuff.

It is fun to mess about with stuff, especially if you are technically curious. Even though the link doesn't work for me, just a blank page, I can sort of see what you are getting at.
Unfortunately once you've had an EV (or any type of car) for a while you get to 'know' whether you will make it or not without any apps. You get to know your car, just like you always have done.

I was worried about a trip the other day as my home charger still hadn't been installed and following a granny charge the day before I'd needed to take my daughter out and back.

I looked at where I was going, no charge point for miles around and would need a detour but wondered whether I'd make it there and back.

Got home after stopping at McDonald's and using a fast charger while waiting for my order to be brought to me in the car - isn't life grand
..

Then I made this...

It's still being tweaked to get more of the current MG range in, but I don't think it's too bad a start
Nice app and useful, can you add the S6 Trophy LR when you have time?

I'll give it a go. My neighbours kept me awake all night with a party and I've had taxis coming down my drive instead of theirs since 4am, so I'll have a nap once the farm jobs are done, then try to update.
