I-Smart on two devices

There's a long discussion on the MG4 forum about the complexities of installing I-smart on two devices that left me totally confused.

Has anyone got clear and precise instructions for the ZSHybrid+ they can let me have to install the app and run it on both my phone and my wifes phone for the same car ? Called my dealer and he was as confused as I was as he'd only ever installled it on one device.

Hi, go to "profile ( face symbol)"--> secondary account--> top right "+"
There you can delegate the car to someone, in case of your wife you have to do It "permanent"

Can you explain it a little more - I have found the Secondary account option and then Authorize and the Family Card is selected. Then there is a Usaere Account section - do I enter my wifes details here to establish an account for her?

Yes, you must put her phone number and she will receive an SMS to validate the accounts.

No idea why it hasn't worked for you, the instructions provided by jcos worked fine for me, I would try again unless anyone else has any ideas

I have just set up a second phone on the MG iSmart app and thought I would summarise what I had to do.
App already installed and working on my phone (phone one).
App needed on my wifes phone so she can also control the car when she uses it (phone two)

1. on the second phone download and install the app
2. Register as a new user using either email or phone number (not the same as on the first phone)
3. The second phone will say something about binding but ignore this for now.

4. On the first phone go to settings (smiley face bottom right)
5. Select Secondary Account and click on the +
6. Enter the second persons name and phone number or email address as used in step 2
7. Authorize

8. the second phone should now display the car details.
9. On the second phone change the pin code otherwise the pin will be the same as on phone one.
10. go to settings -> Security Settings - PIN Code
11. Enter a new pin code

Hopefully I have the steps correct.

That should be it. The account will now work on the second phone and the first phone at the same time.
