IM6
In Norway, NAF motor has done one of their big usual electric car range test, on the models that is popular at the time. This time in very cold winter driving, starting at about -20 C and ending up in -31C. Among lots of interesting cars, MGS6 AWD had the lowest discrepancy from WLTP figures with -29%, with IM6 AWD at -30%. Range for the IM6 would have been 352 km in this weather. Lots of more costly cars that brag about their range, only achieved some kilometers more actual range. It is in norwegian, but can probably be understood: Se alle resultatene fra rekkeviddetesten her

Conclusion: S6 and IM6 is doing very well in this test!

My Norwegian is not up to that unfortunately! In fact it is non-existent sadly!

Furthest range to least (top to bottom)

1000029291.webp
IM6 219 miles (2.19 miles per kwh)

MG S6 214 miles (2.8 miles per kwh)

Thank you for this. Quite a nice article and looks to be a thorough test.
Doing some maths on the IM6 figures I calculate something around 2.4 miles per kw.
Quite impressive considering the temperatures. Wondering now why I cannot see this in far milder conditions.....

Is there a reference on average speed? I cant seem to find it.

Would have liked to see a similar test using DFRE.

Can't seem to find it. For this route an usual average speed would be around 45 mph. In this test the cars were driven until they did not have power to keep up with the speed limit, not until they actually stopped because empty. At what SoC is the IM6 100 kWh in turtle mode?
