Ok, mentioned this on a previous post, just an aside comment but want to get into it a bit more.

My Intelligent drive screen(s) while showing the surrounding lanes are not showing any surrounding vehicles.

Anyone have an S6 which shows vehicle? If so can you let me know what software version you are on?

I've only had it in ACC mode, and vehicle in front is represented as expected. Not tried ICA mode (and this has to be active to see other road vehicles in the cluster's intelligent drive mode screen/tile) to see whether other vehicles show up. No point in having it on with most of the driving I do. But I'm going to Brighton in half term week, so will try it out on the M4 and M25.

So are you saying that ICA mode simply has to be active to see surrounding vehicles, not in use?

I thought that was the case, having read various things about it. But having watched ACC and ICA in use in an MG3 video (which I presume will not differ too much in the S6) I'm now not so sure as I thought I was.

Just resurrected a search I did last week, and this is the AI Google info I got:

Yes, other road vehicles are sensed and displayed in the digital instrument cluster when driving in "intelligent drive mode" (often referred to as Intelligent Cruise Assist or MG Pilot) in the MG S6 EV.
  • Cluster Display: The 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster provides a visual representation of surrounding traffic, featuring "Tesla-inspired" images of vehicles ahead and in adjacent lanes.
  • Intelligent Drive (MG Pilot): When using Intelligent Cruise Assist, the system utilizes cameras and sensors to map the surrounding environment, displaying this information to the driver for increased awareness.
  • Sensor Data: The system detects vehicle proximity, lane markings, and speed limits, showing these on the display to assist with lane keeping and distance management.
  • Blind Spot Monitoring: The system can specifically detect and display vehicles in your blind spots as part of the safety features.
This visual display is designed to provide confidence by showing the car's awareness of its surroundings during autonomous or assisted driving scenarios.

The plot thickens, I'm convinced that you should be getting data on the display from start up, spoken at length to my dealer and they agree, they have checked on their S6 demo which used to show it and now does not (software upgrade), they believe it's been suspended by MG who are upgrading it, they have contacted MG and awaiting a reply.

Following todays posts I left everything on (did not use MG Pilot shortcut) and set ACC to on but not active, with that I started to get information on surrounding vehicle but nothing like what seems to be available on other models, same with ICA, nice graphic of radar waves though......

Will see what dealer comes back with, found this video useful though, MG QS, closer to our screens on the S6.
