Lane Keep Assist not working

I've now had my MG3 Hybrid+ for a couple of weeks now and am on the whole impressed with what you get for your money.

The only real thing that I've noticed, is that the Lane Keep Assist function 9 times out of 10 appears to do nothing (IE. no warning beep etc.).
You can wander right over the white line in the centre of the road and nothing happens. Then right out of the blue it will beep at me and show the appropriate
graphic on the drivers screen. A function like this is pretty useless unless it works properly and consistently.
On my previous car (Polo GTI) Lane Assist worked all the time and consistently.

Just my car? or is it common issue?.

I can't say that I like this sort of "safety feature". So I'm not that fussed. But if its there, it should work.

Mine's the same, it needs time to wake up before it starts reacting. sometimes never, sometimes straight away, sometimes after it's had its morning coffee.
It is definitely inconsistant.
