Those curious about the IM5 and going to Farnborough should note the times below.

JS will be doing a live review of the IM5 at 12:15 on Saturday and 12:30 on Sunday.

I saw RL do a review of the Cyberster last year and managed to ask him a question about it (though he didn't know any more than me as it turned out).

I also test drove IM5 and IM6 today at Farnborough. Interesting machines, the 4 wheel turning for the tight turning circle is great... and they are so fast it is a bit scary when you floor it :D
I also tried a BYD Seal though and the lease deals on those are great right now, lovely car

Missed the start of the review as I'd just arrived and couldn't find it. But I asked a question and was told the IM software is much better than the other MG brand cars.

I did sit and play with the software on the IM6 for 5-10 minutes, it really is years ahead of what we have on the MG4 at least. Even the radar was picking up all the parked cars as we drove out of the airport pretty accurately, whereas the MG4 tends to focus on the one in front. I didn't get a chance to test any of the fancy auto parking assist features unfortunately.

The software in the IM5 and IM6 is in an entirely different league to the MG4/5/S5 etc and also a different league to the VW group MEB platform (we have an ID.3) and the Renault/Nissan platform (we have a Megane e-Tech). Chalk and cheese. Whether it's any more reliable... time will tell, but I was genuinely massively impressed by our hour-long test drive of the IM5 a few weeks ago. The software tracked cars, lorries and motorbikes correctly in the pouring rain on the M40!

I find the Google automotive in my relative's Mégane extremely intuitive and easy to use, no need for Android Auto as it basically runs that, find the "Hey Google" prompts really easy to use for everything, better than my Born, which isn't too bad as OTA updates have been without issue and the live updates (traffic, chargers location/use) bang on the money.
The wife's MG4 software despite various updates is terrible in comparison.
