From my attempts before, if you have the second generation (face lifted) MG ZS EV, you can use the MG4 maps in your car, if they have updated them for your region.
@corrado95 You do NOT use Naviextras - you download the maps.zip file from
this thread, though I couldn't see any maps for Thailand region here - only EU and AU/NZ were downloaded to that account.
@mod147 I'm not sure why it would be a 3 - 8 hour process for you? That seems waaaaaay too long for a copy/update.
The process is:
1. Find a USB stick that has enough room on it - the AU/NZ file is small, but I used a 16 GB USB stick. The EU ones are larger. 32 GB should be safe.
2. Format USB drive to FAT32
3. Unzip the relevant download on your local computer (e.g. C: drive)
4. Copy the
maps folder that results from the unzip to the root of the USB drive - EU maps could take a while because they're 15x larger
5. Go to your car, and start it (press the big ol' start button with your foot on the brake

)
6. Plug the drive into the USB A slot above the wireless charger. The drive should be recognised eventually.
7. Go the maps section in settings and click the "update" button.
8. There should be a window that pops up, asking you what you want to update. If things are greyed out, you may need to wait a while - there's a lot to parse and the drive/connection is slow.
9. Start the process... EU maps can take ages to copy due to the size. I think some people said it took 45 minutes.
10. Hopefully it will complete, and then you turn the car off.
I'm obviously not sure about the different regions, and I didn't have any issue with the version.txt or VN.txt files. It was simply plug and play for me (after the initiation of the update through the Nav settings)
