MG Custom Pilot not turning off alerts

Picked up my MG S5 yesterday. Very happy with it so far other than the issues I'm facing with the Overspeed alerts not turning off?

I'm going into MG Custom Pilot and turning off the speed recognition as well as the fatigue and distraction alerts. I then long press and it says it's saved.

When I select MG Custom Pilot from the top tray it shows the alerts are turned off but as soon as I hit 32 mph in a 30 I get the constant vocal speed limit alerts telling me it's a 30mph limit.

What am I doing wrong? It's infuriating me on a car I'm otherwise very happy with!

I have ours set to warn when 10% over the speed limit.

I've been out all day but it was this! Even though we were using Waze and not the onboard satnav it was still giving audible warnings.

I've turned it off in the Nav settings and muted the voice and that's sorted it.

Can get back to enjoying the new car now
