Hello,
I just got a 2025 MG ZS Hybrid+ from May 2025.
I noticed 2 possible problems,
1) big vibration of the entire cabin. I noticed when I start on EV there is no vibration or anything, but if I turn on the AC on, after a few minutes driving under 20km/h my front right side is vibrating and is annoying. After driving normal (20-25km/h), I don't hear anymore the vibration. Should I get worried, should I contact the MG and see what's happening or is normal?
2) sometimes on a hill, i have 20-30km/h and I have more than 2000-2500 rpm, is this also normal?. Is really loud.

Thank you!

1) Seems odd, would have a look at that; But in general the 1.5 GM/SAIC engine is generally not the latest thing in terms of refinement and vibration suppression.

2) Unfortunately that is normal, as the car will "over rev" to charge the battery, this is more present in newer SW versions as early cars tended to run down the battery too low and then have hardly any power once electric assist was gone. This high revs uphill now are more akin to there hybrids, though with the MG not having an eCVT like a Toyota, its less linear in rising. Unpleasant sounding it is, and I feel like M skipped a bit of engine isolation thinking initially the car will use the electric engine more than it does now after several updates, as it is really noisy above 2000/2500 RPM compared to many petrol engines, and not very pleasant sounding at that (though that is true fo all Miller cycle engines)
