Hey guys, first post here, hoped it would be something better since I love the car.

I crashed into a tree like an idiot while parking, completely my fault, i did not sleep the night before.....

Since the damage is confined to the lower lip. I plan on replacing the part anyway since its just plastic, but the car is a leased car, so i was wondering if you think i can delay the repair a little bit to nearer to the end of my lease date (just incase i repair it and somehow crash again like an idiot), and to just try to cover it up with something or somehow try to weld the plastic and repair it up until that date?

Or do you think damage in that area could cause structural issues and should be fixed ASAP?

Thank you.

If you decide to save the new one to near the end of the lease, you may want to stop the splits or cracks from getting longer in the mean time. Look up how to videos for drifters stitch. It looks pretty simple, but I've never tried it myself.

As for improving the look of it, if you're lucky, some simple dents on a convex surface can be popped out by heating with a hot air gun (hairdryer possibly? ) and pushing from the other side. I imagine you need some experience to not overheat it and damage it further though.
