MG5 for £3950 What's the catch ? Or just the cheapest

Seems like a bargain. I'm sure it has many years of life left in it.

However, I'd give it a sniff before going ahead. A lot of drunk people are sick in taxis. Drivers might know the tricks to clean it out I suppose.

Got to bear in mind its had a very mediocre respray on the rear quarter. Still a lot of car for not much money.

Yes, I had an Octavia and loved it, so we went looking at a Superb in Mansfield in 2009. At that time we were both driving manuals as a preference and the dealer forgot to tell us to bring our licences. I always carried mine, but she didn't.

So we turned up to drive this Superb and they only had an auto, despite us requesting a manual.

And Mrs S didn't have her licence, so it was only me that could drive it. So there we were, three lads aged 10, 6 and 4 in the back, realising the Superb had a whacking great big transmission tunnel in the back, causing issues with legroom.

Add to this we were peed off with the dealer for not having a manual car, we abandoned the idea of the Skoda and, heading home, passed the Honda garage.

They happened to have the last FRV in the North of England in stock, so we bought it, although the colour, black, was our last choice!

I have an MG5 52KW battery on 205,000 trouble free miles and still going strong. Loss of range is below 40 miles. In the summer still able to do over 200 careful miles on a charge.
They do benefit from frequent "balance charging" on the granny charger. From around 80% to full + 4 or 5 hours on the 240 volt AC 3 pin plug. This car still had 100% SOH on the battery on 150k miles. Not had it checked since.
