Just remembered that my MGS5 came with a set of locking bolts. Strangely, they were packed in with the tools so not actually fitted to the car. Haven't fitted them yet and have no particular intention to do so but have other owners got these fitted?

Are you 100% sure they were not fitted? Mine came with a bag of non-locking bolts . . the locking ones had been fitted and the non-locking ones put in a plastic bag with the tools - along with the locking lug nut adapter. I suspect the dealer (Arnold Clark) did this as part of their prep work.

Anyone know the size of the bolts as I too got a set of locking bolts and they weren't fitted, no brace in the tools compartment.
I tried my wife's Yaris brace but it is too big. Or failing that can someone link a brace on Halfords or somewhere else please.
TIA

Oh…. I was not aware that the S5 came with locking wheels 🛞 bolts ?.
Are these supplied with the car from the factory, or by the suppling dealer ?.
I would think it’s the factory, as I can’t see the dealer paying for them tbh 🤣.
I purchased and fitted them to my ZS EV and have now removed them.
I suspect they will be the same wheel bolts on the S5 🤷🏻.

Bolts on yours are M14 x 1.5
I like this from Halfords. Nice bit of extra leverage, if needed. You will use the 17mm hex socket. You can get them cheaper than Halfords, though.
If you are thinking about fitting locking wheel bolts, I honestly wouldn't bother.
🙂👍

The standard wheel brace on most cars are a bit small and therefore requires a lots of effort to undo the bolts.
Can I suggest you go for one of the telescopic ones for better leverage.
It comes with a double sided socket of 17 and 19mm.
The locking bolts on the previous models are sized at 17mm and I would suspect that the S5 will be the same.
He is a bolt taken from my ZS EV.
