I know Nissan are not the only or first manufacturer to do this kind of thing but it must really mess with the market. All those leases and credit agreements that will be impacted when £9,000 is taken off the RRP of a car. Not to mention disgruntled customers

MG did the same with the S5 last month, and some members on here took full advantage.

I remember seeing the basic spec Ariya last month when my mate got a Leaf, and thinking £40k was a bit steep, so it needed reducing.

Yes MG did the same thing and we have seen Tesla pull similar stunts, but this destroys confidence in the market and if still in a cool off period it would make me cancel a deal and start again.


Looks like Ford have also jumped on the band wagon, knocking £1,248 (24 x £52) off of this lease deal.
