Hi Guys, excuse my English language grammars please, as I am not a native English speaker.
I have a question about the actual service intervals of my MG ZS Hybrid+ Luxury 2024 car. (Trophy trim is called Luxury trim here)
I bought the car six months ago from a guy who bought it from MG dealership here in Budapest (East Europe).
Everything was fine until one of my rear headlamps got condensation/water inside it so I went to the dealership to replace it under warranty. (Theoretically is should still have 5 years MG warranty left on it)
Now the problem is that the dealership told me that they cannot replace it under warranty because the original owner didn’t do the mandatory car services at 4500km??? therefore my warranty has been lost!
my question are :
1- When/What are the mandatory car services intervals recommended for MG ZS Hybrid+ Luxury 2024?
2- Have you guys ever heard about this 4500 km mandatory car services? Did you guys take yours to the dealership?
3- What options do I have?
4- Does your service book contains any stamps of warranty of with dealership signature when you bought the car? (mine is new and empty!)

Thank you :)

They're the same in my country here in the Caribbean (Trinidad & Tobago). My dealership stated that, and it's also programmed into the vehicle's service interval counter (if that's what its called). It can be adjusted (I came across a vid on YouTube that showed how), but from the dealership here, it's set at 15000.

Unfortunately, a warranty is always provided by the importer, and technically the importer sets the service requirements for that; In Austria, the intervals are 24.000km or once a year, and no additional required, and actually isn't even required to be done by an official MG dealership as long as the garage can prove that all mandatory checks and work was done (though I would imagine that to be tricky once things get dirty); My dealership did though recommend an oil change (no service) after 1500.-2500 kms and did labor for free, only oil to be paid, though he did stress that it is just "healthy" for an engine and not mandatory for warranty reasons.

Today I was at different MG dealership and surprisingly they had more access to MG system than the previous dealership. They told me that there is no such a thing called mandatory car services at 4500km. It's just that the previous owner missed the 12 months mandatory car service but finally and luckily I was able to regain my warranty due to the fact that MG warranty rules in my country states 12 months or 24000km mandatory car service (+28 days allowance).
these 28 days are being counted from first day of the car purchase by the first owner not the manufacturing date of the car (the first MG dealership didn't know this and mixed both). So yeah lucky those 28 days saved me because my case fits into them.
Thank you guys for all your help :)
it was really helpful for me.
