So today I checked the status of the conventional battery about lunchtime and given the result have been keeping an eye on it during the rest of the afternoon, so far no topping up, the cars not been out, not suggesting a problem, just posting for info.

Is that for 12V battery? How can it go from 69% to 61% in one minute and down to 48% SoC in a few hours?

Ahhh, yes. I remember now. I'll probably get one at some point, but so far I've not seen any random behaviour so I'm unlikely to poke the bear as it were. Ignorance is often the best route otherwise I'll spend hours worrying over what may turn out to be nowt.

one recommendation on 12v batteries - get one of these boosters and keep it in the car in case the battery suddenly packs up. Better than waiting for AA to jump-start you.
I carry one in the car just in case it's needed, had this long before I went EV so for the cars battery its a bit of overkill as it can crank a 4 litre engine but it's a rugged bit of kit and holds it's charge for ages, I just check it every now and then and top up if required.
