I don't really like the front end, but I do see a radar.

I think the front end looks great. And the silver does look good in the first two images.

Guess the MG badge will have to fit on the charging flap again the grills to narrow. Must say it looks interesting for 2024 when i change the MG5 hope it's still imported.

Yeah, apparently the name was changed because the Chinese find it hard to pronounce “Ver” in Rover, so naming it “Roe-we” to help its popularity in China.....

Main reason is they didn't get the rights to use the name, JLR own it. You're right about the Roewe name, it's exactly how most Chinese would pronounce Rover, so made a good alternative.

Ok - I was wondering why it wasn’t used and the badging.

Looks good, but how long before they make a RHD? Also for Europe it will need CCS so that is a significant rewiring necessary, this one has Chademo on the side and type 2 at the front. The current model was nearly 3 years in China before we saw it here.

Not keen on battery swapping myself, there could be too many different age or not looked after batteries, I'd rather keep the one I nurtured all its life.

When I was a child, we did not have electricity at home, and my dad would rent an "Accumulator" from the local electrician's shop (a glass cased lead-acid battery). This would run his radio. Sometimes he would get a good one which would last a couple of weeks: other times, only a few days.
So no, I wouldn't fancy battery swapping either.

Are the roof rails decorative?
Look very similar to the Astra estates and you will need a special kit but at what cost still better if you need them than what’s on now ( decorative ) still if you look at the pics in the background you can see most of the cars have the old type grill so this is very new might take a while to get to the UK
