Had my IM5 SR a couple of weeks now and loving it so far. However, there are a couple of really small annoyances and I was wondering if anyone else has them?

1) The screen colours when using Apple Carplay seem a bit off. For example the green and blues seem really luminous and there appears to be too much contrast. Not a huge deal but it's shame there's no way to calibrate it a bit better.

2) I'm pleased with the audio system but there's not really much bass, no matter how I adjust the EQ. I had a listen to the subwoofer in the boot and it's outputting higher frequencies than I'd expect. For example, you can hear vocals etc through it which is unusual for a sub. Is mine faulty?

Over than that I'm delighted with the car. Compliments our ID7 really nicely.

What are you using a music source? If the input source is low quality then the output will be low quality.
Try Apple car play using lossless setting for the music app and switch on stream in high quality.
Then play “Invisible Sun” by The Prodigy to test the sub!

Also make sure Panoramic 2.0 is switched off - thanks to another user for that tip, sorry forgot your name.
I usually have either Electroverse app or maps on the display so don’t really notice the garish colours problem you have?

You could try putting some high quality audio on a USB stick and see if that eliminates your sound issues?

Yes, I use a usb stick with tons of music on - usually flac files. Anything Bluetooth will be compressed.

I have an issue with CarPlay being overly saturated - would be nice if we could adjust it ourselves. In the day the app icons with a white background are hard to see.

Also, lack of bass? My car was way too bass-forward. I've sorted out a EQ for the car that makes it sound as neutral as possible. I'll start a new thread with screenshots asap.
